The narrative of the travel writer writes that the centralization of the king in a shah-based political system, along with the weakening of other powers of power, can be used to present a priori approach to a distinct experience of politics Transformation and exercise of political power and mobilize existing forces in order to achieve the desired goals.. Also, the analysis of the content of the narrations of travel writers shows that Shah Abbas's pattern on the path of power, which is a mixture of religious, political and economic actions, roots in the previous traditions of politics and exercising power in Iran, as well as in itself, had some new demands that were the result of deep changes in the international system. <br />Therefore, in this research, the present paper seeks to develop a descriptive-analytical method first of all in the structure of power and politics in the Safavid period, and then, by analyzing the content of the logbooks of this period, a proper explanation of the rotation of politics and power during the period Shah Abbas will be lost.  سفرنامه‌های دوره‌ی صفوی، در کنار بازتاب ابعاد و وجوه متنوعی از حیات اجتماعی- سیاسی ایران عصر صفوی، روایتی پراهمیت و البته متمایز از چگونگی اعمال قدرت سیاسی در دوره‌ی شاه عباس به دست می‌دهند که دارای مولفه‌های قابل تاملی‌ست. روایت سفرنامه‌نویسان، نشان می‌دهد که مرکزیت بخشیدن به شاه در یک نظام سیاسی شاه محور، در کنار تضعیف کانون‌های دیگر قدرت، چگونه می‌تواند رویکردهای پیشین را در جهت ارائه‌ی تجربه‌ای متمایز از سیاست‌ورزی و اعمال قدرت سیاسی متحول سازد و نیروهای موجود را در جهت رسیدن به اهداف مورد نظر به تحرک وادارد. همچنین تحلیل محتوای روایت‌های سفرنامه‌نویسان نشان می‌دهد که الگوی مورد نظر شاه عباس در مسیر اعمال قدرت که آمیزه‌ای از کنش‌های مذهبی، سیاسی و اقتصادی بود، هم ریشه در سنت‌های پیشین سیاست و اعمال قدرت در ایران داشت و هم در خود، برخی اقتضائات نوین را جای داده بود که حاصل تحولات عمیق در نظام بین‌الملل بود. بنابرآن‌چه آمد؛ در این پژوهش تلاش بر این است تا با روشی توصیفی- تحلیلی، ابتدا تاملی در ساختار قدرت و سیاست در دوره صفویه صورت بگیرد و آنگاه با تحلیل محتوای سفرنامه‌های این دوره، تبیین مناسبی از چرخش سیاست و قدرت در دوره‌ی شاه عباس به دست داده شود.<br /> <strong>کلید واژه‌ها</strong>: عصرصفویه، حکومت، قدرت، شاه عباس اول، سفرنامه‌ها. https://jhr.usb.ac.ir/article_4967_9f7379324e60eb3c7b10a40204fb43eb.pdf
