The Journal of Historical Researches of Iran and Islam (JHRIS) is a biannual peer-reviewed open-access journal devoted to the field of the history of Iran and Islam, published by the University of Sistan and Baluchestan, Zahedan, Iran. It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original research articles and review articles, considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations.
The Journal of Historical Researches of Iran and Islam (JHRIS) is a specialized journal that aims to develop the frontiers of historical knowledge. It publishes historical research and presents scientific achievements and the results of the intellectual efforts of historians in the field of the history of Iran and Islam. All articles in the following areas will be welcomed by the magazine:
- The history of Iran's developments in different historical periods, especially in relation to the Islamic period;
- The history of Islam in different historical periods, especially in relation to Iran and its neighbors;
- Intellectual history and thought in Iran and Islam; and
- Cultural history based on Iranian and Islamic identity.
The Journal of Historical Researches of Iran and Islam (JHRIS) aims to publish scientific research in the field of the history of Iran and Islam, including research and review articles, extracted from research projects and doctoral dissertations and contributions of historians and history professors, and students. The received articles will be published after the initial approval by the members of the editorial board and after going through the expert review and revision process.
